I have over 25 years experience of craftsmanship and design. The key to many of my designs is the combination of the very best yarn and technical precision. These are traditional methods of construction and machine knitting. Each element of a design is hand manipulated using fine hand tools for moving tiny stitches and creating patterns and textures.

My designs are limited edition, either in the combination of colour or the pattern. This means that your purchase is one of very few and therefore that extra bit special. Each piece is functional, practical and beautifully designed and made.

Every piece is designed and made in London on a Dubied Swiss knitting machine. These are fine items and take time and skill to produce. I wholeheartedly align with the idea of slow fashion. These accessories are made from the highest quality materials which are naturally thermal and breathable. Each piece is made to last. A luxury product to be enjoyed and worn for many years.
And when such time comes that the item is beyond wearing it can be recycled, (it is biodegradable) or re-purposed.

There is zero waste, items are made to order. All threads, ends and 'mistakes' are kept and used. Sometimes they become fabric packs for other makers or the many tiny ends are often made into seasonal decorations.
I source yarn from a single spinning mill, but I often buy redundant stock; yarns which have already been purchased by bigger companies but are surplus and may otherwise find it's way to landfill.
My knitted items are made from traceable wool, certified by the Responsible Wool Standard where mulesing is not used.
The dyes are environmentally friendly and the water used in the process is cleaned and returned to the Loch which the mill sits next to.
All dyes used conform to GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard).
